Here is an excellent link to Tim Yoder woodturning techniques.  This is a well done series of videos that I encourage beginners and advanced turners alike to watch.

Richard Lea said he regards it to be the best segmented turning website-=-unfortunately, full access requires a $25 membership.  The site features projects with step-by-step photos and text.

Twig Pot? I think it might be a bud vase or an elegant pen holder on a desktop. He makes it look straightforward.
Making of the Japanese Kokeshi Doll -- this is wonderfully calming and a depicts a different approach to turning and life
Covers a wide ranging of turning materials and techniques.
Cap'n Eddie Castelin is as down-home as you can get, but he is very practical and has a lot on techniques and creating your own tools. Recently had a stroke and is struggling to get up to speed, but is a nice guy and very practical
Carl Jacobsen is another prolific turner who likes to share his techniques.
Great site on turning natural edge bowls.
Tim Yoder's been around for a long time. Does a lot of unique and folksie stuff
Gwinnett Woodworkers, in a suburb of Atlanta, have a lot on their site, but predominantly woodturning. They video all of their club demonstrations then post them online.
Bill Sokolowski knows more about putting perfect finishes on woodturning than  anyone I have met. A terrific guy! Worth getting his videos! Also, like Reed  Gray, does much if not most of his turning with srapers. Between the two of  them, they have convinced me.
Reed Gray not only turns but creates useful tools as well as an entertaining turner.
